After a month-long break from Secret Spaces Hidden Places, I’m back in print for a photo to show off Angophora Reserve’s gigantic trees. Although I had my trusty Canon R with me, this shot was taken with my iPhone 13 Pro, just seemed easier to get that ultra-wide shot at the time. I had to un-iPhone the photo a little, was a tad too vivid by default but pretty happy with the result.
Luckily, the Secret Spaces Hidden Places feature of The Tawny Frogmouth is monthly, so I got to go on another adventure out in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. This time we ended up at the Bluff Lookout. I took so many shots of this location but decided to use this one that I took of my partner (and author!), as it seemed to give a better sense of scale and depth of the beautiful vista.
